Today marks Navami, the last day of the nine-day festival where devotees feed little girls and worship as a form of a goddess. Dedicated to Maa Siddhidatri, one of the incarnations of Goddess Durga, the colour for the day is Pink. The hue pink is considered very auspicious for the festival as it represents universal love, affection and harmony.
