Bollywood's favourite festival Ganesh Chaturthi is here and B-town stars have been seeking blessings from Lord Ganesha from home, owing to the global COVID-19 pandemic. With joy and enthusiasm, several Bollywood celebs made it a point to visit various pandals in the city, before Coronavirus hit India. The very famous Lal Bagcha Raja has always been an attraction for everyone. Be it a common man or celebrities like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Ekta Kapoor, to name a few - everyone aspires to visit this famous Ganesh Pandal.

Known to be the most famous and the most visited Ganesh idol, this time around, Lal Bagcha Raja Ganeshotsav Mandal will observe Ganesh Chaturthi, unlike last year, while adhering to COVID-19 guidelines. While not every celebrity will visit the pandal this year, keeping in mind the COVID-19 situation, we bring to you 10 celebrities who often visited Lal Baugcha Raja before the pandemic. 

BACHCHANS

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan have been ardent fans of Lord Ganesha. Almost every year, the trio visited the famous Lal Bagcha Raja to seek blessings from Lord Ganesha on Ganesh Chaturthi. However, due to the pandemic, the pandal was closed to visitors last year and hence, the Bachchans could not visit the pandal. 

AJAY DEVGN

One of the most frequent visitors of the Lal Bagcha Raja has to be Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn. The actor made it a point to visit the pandal on Ganesh Utsav several times over the years.

SHILPA SHETTY KUNDRA

Shilpa Shetty Kundra celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi with full enthusiasm and dedication every year as she gets home Ganpati along with her husband Raj Kundra. The actress also made it a point to seek blessings at Lal Baugcha Raja over the years. 

DEEPIKA PADUKONE

Deepika Padukone, who often makes her way to Siddhivinayak temple, also makes sure to pay respects to Lord Ganesha at Lal Baugcha Raja. The actress visited the pandal with her sister Anisha Padukone several times on Ganpati over the years. 

EKTA KAPOOR

Ekta Kapoor made it a point to seek divine blessings from the Lal Baugcha Raja in Mumbai, almost every year with father-veteran actor Jeetendra. Ekta was spotted offering prayers at the famous pandal on the occasion of the Ganesh festival many times. 

PRIYANKA CHOPRA

The most frequent one from Bollywood to make headlines for visiting the Lal Baugcha Raja to seek his blessings was none other than our desi girl, Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The actress started visiting the pandal quite early in her career and continues to do so, whenever she is in India. 

 

SONAM KAPOOR AHUJA-ANIL KAPOOR

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and father Anil Kapoor are also known to be frequent visitors of Lal Baugcha Raja. The father-daughter duo were spotted at the pandal a lot fo times, over the years. 

SONU SOOD

Sonu Sood, the real hero of Bollywood, was often spotted at Lal Baugcha Raja to seek blessings from Lord Ganesha. The actor also welcomed Ganpati at home, several years.

SANJAY DUTT

Sanjay Dutt has been celebrating the auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi with great pomp, over the years. Not only did he make it a point to host Lord Ganesha at his residence, but he also visited Lal Baugcha Raja often. 

RANBIR KAPOOR

Taking out time from his busy schedule, Bollywood's heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor often visited Lal Baugcha Raja to seek blessings from Lord Ganesha on Ganesh Chaturthi.
