PM Modi's Lockdown 4.0 announcement: 'Atmanirbhar' Netizens launch hilarious meme bombs on Twitter

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the nation on the Covid-19 situation in the country on May 12 at 8 pm, announced Lockdown 4. He added that this lockdown will be entirely different from the previous three and will have new rules which will be announced before May 18. “Lockdown 4.0 will be completely different and will have new rules. I am confident that we will, while fighting the virus by following the rules, move forward,” PM Modi said, adding the new rules, based on the suggestions from state chief ministers, would be announced soon.

While PM Modi continued to stress upon India’s self-reliance ie 'atmanirbharta' and the need to fight the coronavirus battle together in his fifth address to the nation, Twitter users launched some hilarious meme bombs.

Even though the country expected the lockdown to be extended, several 'Aatmanirbhar' souls could not help but start a meme fest on social media. Be it Modi's speech or his word 'Aatmanirbhar' which was used several times, Netizens went all out with their creativity and came forward with some hilarious jokes that might make you cry before you laugh out loud.
