Cannes Film Festival 2023: Mrunal Thakur, Vijay Varma and Manushi Chhillar go playful in pastels on Day 3; Aishwarya Rai Bachchan brings bling back

The third day (May 18) of the Cannes Film Festival 2023 came across as a surprise. Indian celebrities, who are representing the country on a global platform, left fashion police highly impressed with their sartorial elegance and understanding. The 76th edition of the prestigious film festival kickstarted on May 16 in the French Riviera.

Experimenting with unique and classy styles, our desi women and men dominated the fashion world with their outfits. Here are some remarkable looks from the third day of the soiree:

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

The queen of the Cannes Film Festival, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, hit the ball out of the park on her first day in the French Riviera. Dressed in a green Valentino outfit, the actress looked elegant as always.

Mrunal Thakur

Mrunal Thakur, who made her Cannes debut this year, served not just one but two dynamic and stunning looks. She made a fashion statement with Anamika Khanna's “hood couture” look, which she completed with earrings from Diosa and shoes from Christian Louboutin.

Her second look was a unique spin to a traditional saree. Mrunal was dressed in a custom-made Falguni and Shane Peacock saree. She teamed it up with shoes from Jimmy Choo and earrings from Outhouse.

Manushi Chhillar

Former Miss World Manushi Chhillar left all spellbound on the third day. The actress wore a pastel blue gown and teamed it with a golden necklace.

Vijay Varma

It won't be wrong to call him one of the best-dressed stars at the Cannes Film Festival 2023. Vijay impressed the fashion police not once but twice on Thursday. His first look was a Gaurav Gupta creation. Dapper in black, he made heads turn.

Vijay also wore an Anamika Khanna creation. It's time to bookmark his looks.

Urvashi Rautela

Bringing back bold lips, Urvashi Rautela walked the red carpet in a mermaid-like dress. She sported blue lipstick which became the highlight.
