Chinese-French designer Joseph Altuzarra has unveiled his Fall 2020 collection much to our delight. However, this quarantine collection campaign had a sweet surprise waiting for all of us. Giving the FW2020 collection a personal touch, the designer featured four generations of Altuzarra women strike a pose.

Joseph’s grandmother, Jeannette Wei; mother, Karen Altuzarra; cousin, Lily Kwong; and daughter Emma Altuzarra-Weissman were photographer by another member of his family, wearing pieces from his latest collection.

When I had the idea of photographing four generations of women in my family, in my Fall collection, I didn’t know how we would make it work. It took a lot of FaceTiming, zooming and FedExing, not to mention an incredible amount of effort and time from all of these extraordinary women and my amazing @altuzarra team, to get my grandmother in Texas, my Mom in London, my cousin in Long Island and my 8 month old daughter together for this moving tribute. I am so grateful to my grandmother, my mom @kaltuzarra, my cousin @lily_kwong, and my little Emma, and all of our loving guys who so generously lensed these beautiful photographs, for their time, their love, and for making this dream a reality.
