The US President, Donald Trump’s India visit along with the first lady Melania Trump and daughter Ivanka Trump has been the talk of the town for various reasons. In their 2-day maiden visit to our county, Melina and Ivanka left no stone unturned to appear at their stylish best, on all the occasions.
With that being said, allow us to present you all the sartorial insights donned by this mother-daughter duo on their official visit to our homeland!
MELINA TRUMP
For her arrival, US’ first lady Melania stunned us all in a crepe monochrome jumpsuit from Atelier Caito For Herve Pierre. She added a hint of colour and a desi touch by teaming up her outfit with silk embroidered sash that was made from the vintage Indian textile dated back to the 20th century. She kept her hair and makeup natural, to complete her clean, fuss-free look.
For another outing, Melania chose to rock a button-down printed shirtdress from CAROLINA HERRERA that bore subtle floral prints and a textured red belt. She rounded off her look with white pointy pumps, barely-there makeup and tousled tresses.
IVANKA TRUMP
Ivanka made a strong case for sustainability as she touched down to India wearing the same Proenza Schouler number that she donned in Argentina last year. Her powder blue dress with red floral prints was teamed up with red block heels. A striking scarlet pout and poker-straight tresses added finishing touches to her look.
For her appearance at another event, Ivanka pulled off a head-to-toe desi look in a classic handwoven suruhi sherwani from label Anita Dongre. She opted for the same red lip and poker-straight hairdo to go with this look.
