Before swooning us with its grand gala night that is all set to take place in Assam on February 15, 2020; Filmfare gave us a sneak peek of all the sartorial goodness by hosting a curtain-raiser in Mumbai on Sunday, February 2, 2020. We witnessed Bollywood’s crème de la crème gracing the soiree dressed in their fashionable best.
While some of them stood out and stole the limelight at the red carpet with their good looks, there were some of them who failed to set the sartorial benchmark.
NUSHRAT BHARUCHA
Nushrat raised a lot of eyebrows with her super risky dress from label Yousef Akbar. Be it her ultra-risque slit with bolted straps or her off shouldered detailing, we have mixed feelings about this overall look. Although A for the effort to try on such a risky dress.
PULKIT SAMRAT
We somehow didn’t like those icy blue stripes from Paresh Lamba Signatures on this hottie. Overwhelming stripes or too much in-your-face bright colours, something was not right about this look. What are your thoughts?
RADHIKA MADAN AND NORA FATEHI
Radhika and Nora opted for bling and shimmers for the big night. Same old, same old!
This super-plunging sequined wrap dress from Retrofête failed to work its charm on our beaut. Given her sound sartorial past, we feel she could have better than this.
Nora sported a textured sequined number with structured shoulders and a thigh slit. Well, no love no hate for this look; however, we have seen Nora acing these kinds of look before. Too safe, maybe?
ATHIYA SHETTY
Not a fan of this mirror encrusted Reem Acra look on Athiya. Given her ability to nail any given outfit with utmost ease, she didn't hit the right chords this time.
ALAYA F
Overwhelming ruffles to sequins and a slit jumpsuit, there were too many things happening with this Gaby Charbachy outfit and we don’t like any! C’mon Alaya, we know you can do better than this.
MANISHA KOIRALA
This super blingy, overwhelming knotty jacket from Neetu Rohra did not do justice to Manisha's elegance.
