We’re pretty much fond of Deepika Padukone’s sartorial options but what we absolutely admire about her is the fact that she is oblivious to the existence of the fashion police. Deepika doesn’t mind repeating her outfits with slight alterations in the colour and cut, here and there, and effortlessly does so quite often without being censured for it. And even if you do mind, it doesn’t matter to her.

The 32-year-old actress just revamped an outfit that she sported last year and wore it to an event last week but guess what, folks? You didn’t even remember because you need panache to pull that off! Remember this embellished ivory dress that Deepika wore while discharging promotional duties for her Hollywood debut film xXx: Return of Xander Cage in Mumbai in 2017? Set in a sheer base, Deepika looked resplendent as her Sabyasachi outfit accompanied a floor-length cape while she paired her ensemble with gold stilettoes.

Cut to 2018. Deepika kinda altered her ivory dress and opted for a similar ensemble from Sabyasachi’s shelves for her appearance at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award ceremony in Mumbai last week.

Instead of ivory, she opted for red this time. The slit is there as are the sequins – cut is the same, just that she dropped the cape. Of course, she wore her mangalsutra and chooras, and needless to mention, her wedding glow. Red sandals and dainty danglers completed her look. Deepika married actor Ranveer Singh in November.
