Gold promotions round one: Mouni Roy slays in traditional Indian ensemble!

What started as her trust with TV series Naagin to now starring opposite Akshay Kumar in Gold, Mouni Roy's journey in fashion domain has been - steady, sexy and stylish. For the film promotions, let's tune into what makes Mouni fall in love with chiffon sarees and lehengas...

Let's take a quick look at the actress' sartorial picks for the promotional stint:

Saree not Sorry

Mouni Roy can easily give us a handbook on how to nail the saree style without overdoing it. At one of the promotional event for her upcoming film, Mouni sported an organza saree from Jade by Monica & Karishma styled by Rishika Devnani. And oh boy, it was the one shoulder blouse that glamourized the whole ensemble. She further accessorized the look with Curio Cottage earring. Highlighted eyes with sheen makeup and hair coiffed in a bun rounded her look.

Mint Blue for the win

For another event, channeling retro vibes, Mouni showcased her never-ending love for the saree, again. She was spotted donning designer Archana Rao's mint saree with ruffle and applique flower detailing that is beautifully styled by Rishika Devnani. The actress teamed it with a sleeveless blouse and ditched the jewellery, and finished off the look with her signature makeup style of perfectly lined eyes and hair tied in a bun.

Max-it-out!

In another look, Mouni sported an easy breezy traditional maxi dress from the label Anushree. Her favourite stylist Rishika Devnani accessorized the look with a pair of jhumkis and matching kadas from Minerali Store. She completed the look with smokey eyes, nude pink lips and natural curls.

Paint me blue

Ms Roy's love for lehengas can clearly be seen in her Insta-feed. For her recent fashion outing, the actress opted for a midnight blue lehenga from the brand LOKA By Veerali Raveshia. The outfit featured a strappy blouse with glitter embellishment and shaded dupatta. Stylist Rishika Devnani glammed up the look with statement earrings from Golecha Jewels and bangles from Zoya. The makeup and hair were kept easy with nude tones and soft curls.
