The much-awaited engagement bash of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta concluded on Saturday evening in Mumbai. The star-studded affair saw the who’s who of Bollywood, corporate world and politics in attendance. While the men looked dapper, the women left no stone unturned to impress with their sartorial choices.
Papped at the venue were Kajol, Madhuri Dixit, Rani Mukerji and Vidya Balan. And we must say, the B-town ladies wowed us with their ethnic attires.
Kajol looked stunning in an Anjul Bhandari ensemble as she wore a white chikankari kurta with embellished blue palazzo pants. Styled by Radhika Mehra, her look was paired with exquisite meenakari necklace from the Noor collection by Khurana Jewellery House. Subtle makeup, kohled eyes and bright lips rounded off her look.
Madhuri looked enchanting in summer rose print sari with floral and lace sequins embroidery from Shehlaa by Shehla Khan. Styled by Ami Patel, her look was completed with beautifully handcrafted earrings, bangles and necklace from Shrihari Diagems by Anirudh.
Rani also opted for gold like other B-town ladies like Alia Bhatt, Kiara Advani and Rekha. She wore a golden anarkali paired with matching net sequin embellished dupatta by Sabyasachi. Matching earrings, gold pumps and red lips completed her look.
Vidya looked stunning in a white gota patti embellished saree paired with contrast pink elbow length sleeves brocade blouse by Anita Dongre. Styled by Pranay Jaitly and Shounak Amonkar, her look was paired with earrings from Raabta by Rahul and bangles from Minerali Store. Shoes from Crimzon World completed her look. Subtle makeup, bold lips and a 'bindi' accentuated her facial features.
