Mahira Khan is a pixie spreading magic dust in vibrant hues for her Cannes debut

Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is a woman of substance, and carries her 'Sorry not Sorry' attitude on fleek. Resonating her bold choices into her sartorial ones, Mahira has been a frequent visitor of headlines for her style-meets-comfort clothing. Besides experimenting with ethnic wear, Mahira has impressed the fashion police with her chic and trendy outfits on several occasions, and thereby established herself as an aficionado.

Cut to Cannes 2018. Mahira is gearing up for a flashy debut at the prestigious film festival. The actress  was named the first Pakistani brand ambassador for make-up giant L'Oreal last year, and also announced the news on her Instagram handle last month. Soaking up under the French sun, the Raees starlet is quite a force to reckon with, as far as vogue is concerned. For her first outing on the seventh day of Festival de Cannes, Mahira opted for an Elan ensemble, including a crossover bustier paired with harem pants and a festive's NisaNur kimono to break the monotony of the outfit.

Further accentuating the outfit, Mahira totally owned the summe style makeup trends in peachy lips, minimal makeup on the lines of nude, a highlighter on point and hair pulled back into a sophisticated bun.

Taking the style barometer sky high, Mahira changed into a more kicky couture for her second look. Stressing on the formal note, the actress wore a bright yellow flowy silk blouse paired with black bell bottoms and a patent belt.

To round off the look, she wore black Christian Louboutin heels and dangles. Keeping the same makeup, Mahira let her hair down for loose waves.

Transforming from elegant to chic to a boss lady, Mahira's final look included a floral-print pant suit. With parted hair, beige pumps and danglers, the actress kept accessories and makeup to bare minimum, allowing her couture to call the shots. But keeping in mind the event, we feel this may have been not exactly what we were looking forward to!

And when not leaving us gasping for breath with her official Cannes outing outfits, the actress, in between trials and fitting sessions carried a license to kill - with her not so just casual attire. The monochrome is only amplifying the effect you see.

Besides Mahira, other celebrities attending the Cannes this year to represent L'Oreal Paris are Julianne Moore, Jane Fonda, Eva Longoria as well as Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai and Sonam Kapoor. The 71st annual Cannes Film Festival is scheduled to be held from May 8 to May 19.

Mahira, star of Bol, Ho Mann Jahaan and Verna amongst others, is currently filming for Saat Din Mohabbat In and Maula Jatt 2. The actress made her Bollywood debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Raees (2017).
