PeepingMoon Exclusive: Sourabh Raaj Jain talks about being a part of 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 11', says 'the best strategy I am going to take forward is to control myself mentally'

The shoot for Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 has kickstarted in Cape Town and every contestant is thrilled to be a part of the adventurous reality show. With Rohit Shetty back as the host, the season will see Divyanka Tripathi, Arjun Bijlani, Nikki Tamboli, Vishal Aditya Singh, Aastha Gill, Sana Makbul, Anushka Sen, Shweta Tiwari, Mahekk Chahal, Rahul Vaidya, Abhinav Shukla, Varun Sood and Sourabh Raj Jain as contestants.

While the contestants are all geared up to be a part of KKK11, contestant Sourabh Raj Jain, known for his work in shows like Mahabharat, Mahakali and Mahakavi, is looking forward to 'experience the adrenaline rush'. The actor, in an exclusive chat with PeepingMoon, spoke about being a part of the reality show, if it will help him reinvent himself and being a part of Bigg Boss in the near future.

Excerpts from the interview:

Did you choose Khatron Ke Khiladi to reinvent yourself?

Khatron Ke Khiladi has always been one show on my bucket list, and I knew the day I would take it up would never have me think twice about it. So more than reinventing myself through the show, I am looking forward to experience that adrenaline rush through the thrills which those kind of challenging stunts are made of!

The show usually needs intense training and prep. How have you planned it?

Due to lockdown there was no way to specifically prep or plan anything, so the only thing I have been able to do is workout at home. Though I have been mentally prepping myself in many ways to build up internal and external strength.

Any strategy that you are taking inside the show to survive until the end?

The best strategy I am going to take forward is to control myself mentally. I am not going to panic or extensively think about how to do the task, as thats where I feel half the battle is already won.

Do you think reality shows like KKK gives an artist connect better with the audience as it’s not scripted?

Reality shows in general give us actors a better chance to connect with the audience because these shows give the viewers a chance to see who we really are and importantly understand our off-screen personalities.

KKK and Bigg Boss go hand in hand, planning to participate in BB as well after this?

Right now my main focus is striving to do my best on Khatron Ke Khiladi, and only post that will I think about other projects.

Do you think the larger-than-life experience of KKK will be affected due to the ongoing pandemic?

While the pandemic is definitely a matter of concern at the moment for the entire world, keeping in mind all our safety protocols and precautionary measures, we are hoping that our KKK shoot goes smoothly and everybody remains hail and hearty throughout our schedule in Cape Town.
