Kapil Sharma undergoing treatment at a rehabilitation centre in Delhi

Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma has recently been in the news for all the wrong reasons. In the latest development, he is undergoing treatment at a rehabilitation centre in Delhi. According to our sources, Kapil is being treated at the same rehab where music composer-singer Yo Yo Honey Singh was admitted sometime back. His girlfriend Ginni Chatrath and his mother were also seen at the centre.

For the uninitiated, Kapil had started taking a lot of medicines after he started experiencing insomnia which ultimately resulted in him becoming an addict and is also suffering from depression. As per our sources, Kapil is staying in a hotel in Delhi and from there he goes to rehab every day. Apparently, Ginni comes to leave him at the centre every day. Kapil spends around eight to ten hours at the rehab centre and fortunately, he does not need to stay on at the centre all the time.

A family friend of Kapil said that after getting treatment at the Delhi rehabilitation centre the actor would go to Bengaluru to get further treatment at an Ayurvedic centre. Apparently, he had undergone therapies at the centre previously too. He had gone to get rid of alcoholism and within twenty days he became sober, however, post the debacle of his film Firangi, he again restored to alcohol support.
