After winning over millions of hearts with his passionate lover boy role in ‘Saiyaara,’ Ahaan Panday is gearing up for his action avatar in Ali Abbas Zafar's next directorial. PeepingMoon.com has exclusively learned that Ahaan will undergo a rigorous physical transformation and three months of intensive training to convincingly embody his action persona in YRF’s action romance. 

“Zafar, who returns to YRF with this project after directing Salman Khan’s blockbusters ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, aims to present Ahaan as a young, macho, masala film hero. To achieve this, Ahaan needs to build a distinct and powerful physique, different from his soft, romantic character in ‘Saiyaara’. He has committed to this transformation and will begin his training in December,” a source said. Shooting is scheduled to begin at the end of March 2026, with ‘Munjya’ fame Sharvari locked as the leading lady.

Aditya Chopra, who has been grooming Ahaan for the last five years, has instructed the young star to keep a low profile during his transformation period to maintain secrecy around his new look and makeover. The YRF head honcho sees tremendous potential in Ahaan and aims to present him as a larger-than-life action hero while preserving his romantic charm that captivated audiences in ‘Saiyaara.’ He is heavily invested in positioning Ahaan as a leading Gen Z star, and this project underscores his ambition to establish Ahaan as Bollywood’s next big hero.
