Sidharth Malhotra is back in action and brimming with hope following the mixed reviews of his last film ‘Param Sundari.’ PeepingMoon.com has learned that the actor is set to begin shooting for The Viral Fever and Balaji Motion Pictures’ ‘Vvan: Force of the Forest’ on October 24 in Mumbai.
The mythological folk thriller is resuming production after its first schedule was disrupted in June due to creative differences between Sidharth and director Deepak Mishra. The actor had some reservations about the script which have now been fixed after extensive revisions aligning everyone on the same page and the team will restart the project with renewed enthusiasm.
The makers have also finalized the principal cast to join Sidharth and Tamannaah Bhatia in this project. Maniesh Paul, who's currently seen in ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari,’ and Sunil Grover, the star comedian of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show,’ have joined ‘Vvan’ in pivotal roles. Shweta Tiwari also features as an important character.
Described as a Kantara-style folklore inspired by Chhath Puja traditions of Bihar, ‘Vvan’ promises to blend mythology, spirituality, and social themes into a culturally rich narrative. Deepak Mishra (‘Panchayat’) jointly directs this film with Arunabh Kumar, the founder of TVF.
