Sara Ali Khan, who made a smashing debut in December 2018 with Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath, is now all set for her fifth Bollywood film - Aanand L Rai's Atrangi Re with Akshay Kumar and Dhanush. While her on-screen pairing with AK and Dhanush comes across as unique, Sara explains to us in an exclusive conversation with PeepingMoon why the trio is as atrangi as the film's title,
When asked if she had a crush on Akshay while growing up, Sara chuckled and said, "No, I did not but I was a big fan of him. He is a bonafide superstar, so I think of course there is admiration for him and he is very inspirational as a star to anybody. But ultimately, I think that it's part of our job to live very honestly and very truthfully adhering to our characters at that time."

The actress added, "So, it didn't even feel like 'oh I am doing a scene with Dhanush' because Aanand ji weaved in such a beautiful world that it took no time for it to become Rinku and Visu rather than Sara and Dhanush, which I think is special. And I think it was the same with Akshay Sir - I think it was his character and my character. And our trio is as atrangi as it sounds on paper."
