Meezaan is all set to tickle our funny bones and make our hearts skip a beat in Priyadarshan’s Hungama 2. The young actor in a candid chat with PeepingMoon.com spoke about director Priyadarshan complimenting him on his comic timing and comparing him with his father Jaaved Jaaferi and late grandfather Jagdeep ji and sharing screen space with senior actors Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Shilpa Shetty.
Meezaan also spoke about his much-talked about link-up rumours with Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter and Shweta Bachchan Nanda’s daughter Navya Naveli Nanda and how it made things awkward between the two friends and their families.
Talking about the dating rumours with Navya, Meezaan reiterated that they are just friends and said, “It’s very difficult in today’s time, it might happen tomorrow that another celebrity is seeing a friend of mine but if I am spotted entering that restaurant with that girl, you know, they will be like ‘oh he is having a scene with this girl and he is having a relationship with this girl etc, etc.’ I know they are going to do it regardless of what I say so I am just going to maneuver my way through it, you know it’s part of my business, it’s part of my work and I kind of signed it up for it when I said I wanted to become an actor so I’m not really worried about it and try to deal it in my own way. But yeah, with Navya issue I have spoken enough and was misinterpreted, main bolta kuch aur hoon and woh likhte kuch aur hai so I am not going to dwell more on this matter.”
Now, finally Meezaan has cleared the air and the gossip mongers can take a back seat!
