Here’s the breaking news of the day! The young Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh is making his OTT debut. PeepingMoon.com has exclusively learned that Ranveer has been signed by the streaming giant Netflix for an action-packed adventure reality show. He is the latest A-list Bollywood star to take the digital route at a time when theatrical business is down due to the Covid lockdown. However, unlike his contemporaries, Ranveer has chosen a non-fiction show for his dhamakedar debut in the digital world.
While details of the Netflix project are not known yet, we heard we will see Ranveer doing some never-attempted-before action scenes. It will see him following the path of his Simmba director Rohit Shetty who has been hosting the action TV reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. Ranveer has already done the photo-shoot for the show and will formally kick off shooting once the dates and locations are locked. Billed as one of the biggest non-fiction Netflix show coming out of India, this project has been planned to be shot on a grand scale. The official announcement on the same is expected soon.
Meanwhile, Ranveer is currently awaiting the release of two films — Yash Raj Films’ Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus. The actor is reportedly also doing Karan Johar’s next directorial that will see him romancing his Gully Boy co-star Alia Bhatt. He’s also in talks for Zoya Akhtar’s gangster drama with Katrina Kaif, however, there's no confirmation on that front from the makers.
