PeepingMoon Exclusive: Being a maximum guy creates false expectations- Manoj Bajpayee on why he wants to remain a 'minimum guy' after The Family Man 2's success

Manoj Bajpayee is definitely not your 'minimum guy' in the world of acting. He once again proved his mettle with Raj & DK's blockbuster web show, The Family Man 2, in which he plays the role of Srikant Tiwari, an employee of Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC). Now, as the actor is getting rave reviews for the show and his performance, he sat down for an interview with PeepingMoon.com. Talking to us, Manoj told why being a 'maximum guy' creates false expectations.

"It is always about being a minimum guy and exploring the world from that level. Being a maximum guy creates false expectations and I am in no mood for doing that. What makes me happy is season 2 surpassed the first season which itself was a humongous success. It is a remarkable feat that nobody could imagine. I don't think any filmmaker, any actor in this world can imagine this kind of success," Manoj said.

For the unversed, the term 'Minimum Guy' was used in The Family Man 2 majorly in the first 2-3 episodes. Manoj, aka Srikant, joins an IT firm after quitting his job at TASC. At his new workplace, his 28-year-old boss keeps urging him to 'not be a minimum guy'. The dialogue has become a hit among youngsters.

The Family Man 2 also stars Sharib Hashmi, Priya Mani, Sharad Kelkar, Shahab Ali, Ashlesha Thakur, Abhay Verma, Vedant Sinha, Mime Gopi, Ravindra Vijay, Abhishek Shankar, Mime Gopi, Uday Mahesh, Srikrishna Dayal and Anand Sami among others. It premiered on June 4 on Amazon Prime Video.
