PeepingMoon Exclusive: Akshay Kumar collaborates with Bell Bottom makers for yet another action thriller; Ranjit Tewari to direct

Akshay Kumar is just not stopping! We are saying so because he is signing films after films even in this COVID-19 times when the film production across the nation has been stopped to prevent the spread of the virus. The superstar already has Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi and Ranjit Tewari's Bell Bottom ready to release while his one film is completed and three others are in production. But that's still not enough as he is in talks for at least five more projects for the coming year. Days after the news of him returning with the second installment of Oh My God, Peepingmoon.com has learned that Akshay has committed himself to one more film.

Our industry sources have informed us that Akshay is collaborating with his Bell Bottom makers for yet another big-budget action thriller. Bell Bottom director Ranjit Tewari will call the shots for this one too while Vashu Bhagnani will produce under his Pooja Entertainment banner. Like Bell Bottom, this yet-untitled film will also be shot majorly in the UK following the same bio-bubble protocols. Akshay has given his dates from August to September 2021 to shoot the film that is said to be completely different from their upcoming soon-to-premiere espionage thriller. The shooting schedules might differ given the actor's chock-a-block diary.

Akshay will complete Abhishek Sharma's Ram Setu and Aanand L Rai's Raksha Bandhan before heading to his second Ranjit Tewari film. While a major chunk of Ram Setu has been completed, he will kick off the shoot for Raksha Bandhan on June 21 in Mumbai. The actor will head to OMG 2 only after completing all these projects. This will be followed by Akshay and Bhagnani's third collaboration, Mission Lion, to be directed by Jagan Shakti of Mission Mangal fame. Akshay's much-awaited web series debut, The End for Amazon Prime Video is expected to hit the floors only by mid-2022.
