Exclusive: One wedding, two ceremonies and two costumes for Deepika Padukone

It's confirmed! Deepika Padukone will be a Sabyasachi Mukherjee bride! Airport paparazzo spotted the actress with husband-to-be Ranveer Singh flying out of the country last night. Destination - Lake Como in Italy, of course, where the private and intimate wedding is taking place on 14th and 15th. And among Deepika's luggage were branded Sabyasachi bags with her trousseau!

But, Deepika's not going to be wearing red as was widely expected. Every Bollywood bride from Bipasha Basu and Preity Zinta to Sonam Kapoor already exhausted red. Like Anushka Sharma last year who wore a floral pastel lehenga for her wedding and Aishwarya Rai in 2007 who chose a jewel golden saree, Deepika will be different in her choice of colour.
For the Nandi Puja that kick-started the wedding ceremonies in Bengaluru last week, she wore a bright orange silk kurta and salwar paired with pearl and golden jhumkas from Sabya's collection.

Now here's the catch. PeepingMoon.com has learned that there's going to be two ceremonies for the wedding - a Konkani one for her and a Sindhi one for him. And Deepika is but naturally going to be wearing different outfits for both. A saree for the Konkani ritual and lehenga for the Sindhi. And neither of these costumes will be red!

As per our sources, Deepika will stick to hues of golden, marigold and orange for her Konkani wedding saree. The saree will be worn in 'Kachche' or the dhoti style, where the pallu drape is shorter and often tucked inside the waistline. As we have earlier revealed that Deepika will be adorning the jewels from Tanishq, she will be seen sporting ornaments like Vaki, Ambada Aati, Pake and Jada Choti accessory on the wedding day. The actress has sported a similar look in her blockbuster film Chennai Express, back in 2007, playing the popular role of Meenamna.
