Hrithik Roshan is reportedly getting ready to don the superhero’s garb once again and step into the shoes of ‘Krrish’ for the fourth installment of the hugely popular franchise. Once again, the actor who has superhuman abilities in the Krrish series will play a double role in this film that producer and director Rakesh Roshan has promised will be grander than the three earlier films. What is already known is that Rakesh plans to shoot and edit two sequels simultaneously – so Krrish 4 and 5 will go on the floors simultaneously, perhaps to make best use of the international unit working on the stunts and special effects of the series.

There just might be another twist to the Krrish 4 and 5 plans. Buzz is that Sanjay Gupta, who directed Kaabil for the Roshans last year, might just helm one of these two films. Attempts to get a confirmation from Rakesh failed. Priyanka Chopra’s involvement once again in these films is uncertain though Rakesh has said in the book Priyanka Chopra: The Dark Horse by Bharathi S Pradhan that he has a role in mind for her.

However, it is believed the Roshans are on the lookout to launch a newcomer in Krrish 4.

One actress reportedly under consideration is going to be working on a YRF project for Vijay Krishna Acharya soon. Rakesh, who announced Krrish 4 on Hrithik’s birthday in January, said at the time he was busy with the script and it was too early to comment on the fourth installment. The filmmaker has not as yet come out with a statement.

Another rumour doing the round is that the Roshans were in favour of Nawazuddin Siddiqui playing a larger than life antagonist in this superhero film. But there is no conformation about that as well. Hrithik is currently working on Super 30 which is a biopic on mathematician Anand Kumar. It is slated for release in January 2019 and Hrithik will take up Krrish 4 and 5 as soon as he finishes Super 30. There is also Siddharth Anand’s untitled action film with Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor in the pipeline for Hrithik about which little is known.
