Raghava Lawrence is sorry, will be given a chance to complete ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ after all

There’s a bit of murky controversy surrounding Laxmmi Bomb director Raghava Lawrence’s sudden exit from the film. The story doing the rounds after Lawrence tweeted was that the director was peeved that a poster of the film announcing its release date was put out without his consent.

However, PeepingMoon.com sources say otherwise. It is believed that Lawrence, who directed the original Tamil film Kanchana 3 of which Laxmmi Bomb is the Hindi remake, was asked to step down. And after Lawrence lashed out at the film’s Bollywood producers Shabina Khan and Tusshar Kapoor in anger, he developed cold feet and began expressing his regret.

The director reportedly rushed back to Mumbai and has been here for two days. Lawrence is believed to have met Shabina and apologized for the mistakes that supposedly led to his exit. An agreement has been signed with the repentant director and he will continue to direct Laxmmi Bomb

PeepingMoon.com sources say the story doing the rounds that writer-director Farhad Samji, who has the reputation of being a Go-To-Man when any Bollywood film is in trouble, is going to step in and complete Laxmmi Bomb is not true at all. Lawrence will continue, but not everybody is happy about this.
