Exclusive: Vikas Bahl to get credit for direction in Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Super 30’ after being ousted due to MeToo allegations?

Vikas Bahl is learnt to have got his directorial credits back in the Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30. PeepingMoon exclusively learnt from an industry insider who has seen the first promo of the film that Bahl has been credited as the director of the film in the credit slide of the promo.

"The promo is outstanding and Hrithik is at another level. It is a sure shot winner and Vikas has got his due as he has been credited for his hard work," says the source who believes that the #MeToo campaign has faded out and a few have been reinstated in the industry so why to label the director alone.

Though the last neck of the film schedule was shot by filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, the director has refused to be credited. Vikas was named as a sexual harasser by a female staff of the erstwhile Phantom Films after which the company was dissolved. Vikas was named and shamed by a few more women as well as actress Kangana Ranaut and Nayani Dixit after which his name was dropped from the credits of the film Super 30.

However, looks like he is back on the board as the #MeToo movement has fizzled out and died a natural death. Super 30 is inspired by the life of acclaimed Mathematics professor Anand Kumar.
