Priyanka Chopra thanks PM Narendra Modi for meeting her with regards to the Partners' Forum

Priyanka Chopra headed to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's office to invite him to the 2018 Partners' Forum organized by The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH). The event will be held in New Delhi on December 12-13.

Sharing a picture of herself and PM Modi on social media, Priyanka wrote, "Very grateful to the honorable @PMOIndia, Shri @narendramodi to meet me, Shri @JPNadda and Mrs. @mbachelet in regards to being a patron for the Partners' Forum... #2018PMNCHLive."

PMNCH is an alliance of more than 1,000 organisations in 92 countries of the sexual, reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health communities, as well as health influencing sectors.

Earlier in the day, Priyanka attended a curtain raiser event of PMNCH in the capital city, which was attended by Health Minister Mr. JP Nadda.

At the event, Priyanka had said, "When I go to a refugee camp or to a small villages and meet girls not being able to get opportunities, but despite that a lot of these girls do end up becoming community leaders because they have support from their communities."

On the work front, the actress is busy with her American TV series Quantico, which is in its third season.
