Rajkummar Rao’s one of the most anticipated upcoming films, Prahaar: The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam, is set to have a rather unusual trailer launch. The trailer of the film will be unveiled tomorrow, September 29, at Mumbai’s iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

What makes the launch even more significant is the location. CSMT was one of the key locations targeted during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, an event that also forms an important part of Ujjwal Nikam’s story. Nikam was the special public prosecutor in the 26/11 case and handled the trial of terrorist Ajmal Kasab.

Rajkummar Rao will be seen stepping into the role of the veteran prosecutor in the film. The actor’s first look as Nikam had already sparked curiosity, and the trailer is expected to give a closer look at his portrayal and the courtroom drama.  The makers have planned the launch at CSMT as a first-of-its-kind film trailer event, bringing the story closer to one of the real locations connected to the events portrayed in the film.

Prahaar: The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam is directed by Avinash Arun and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films. The film also stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sikandar Kher and Tarun Sharma and is scheduled to release in theatres on October 16, 2026.
