Saif Ali Khan plays a visually challenged character in Haiwaan, marking the first time he is essaying such a role in his career.

Actor Saif Ali Khan has impressed filmmaker Priyadarshan with his performance in Haiwaan. The actor and director are collaborating for the first time on the upcoming film. While the recently released teaser has already piqued curiosity, Priyadarshan has praised Saif's performance of a blind character. 

In a recent interview, the director shared, "Saif made the character his own. I didn’t have to explain much. He just listened, understood, and delivered beyond expectation.”

Priyadarshan also mentioned that Saif did the part without any prior training. Haiwaan is set to release in cinemas on September 11. The film also stars Akshay Kumar, marking a reunion between Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar after 18 years.
