The teaser and recently released trailer of Aakhri Sawal have received massive appreciation from audiences, creating strong buzz for the film’s bold, gripping, and hard-hitting storyline. Starring Sanjay Dutt, the much-awaited film is all set to hit theatres on May 15, 2026.

Aakhri Sawal, headlined by Sanjay Dutt, has created immense buzz and excitement among audiences for its bold, intense, and thought-provoking narrative. The film’s teaser and trailer received a tremendous response, building strong anticipation ahead of its theatrical release. 

Amidst this, producer Nikhil Nanda recently shared his thoughts on releasing such an intense film amid the wave of action thrillers like Dhurandhar. He stated that audiences today are looking for a much-needed change, and Aakhri Sawal aims to deliver exactly that with its truth-based story and hard-hitting facts that will spark opinions, debates, and questions among viewers. 

Nikhil Nanda shared, “According to me, the audiences are very intelligent. Everyone wants a film in a different genre, amidst thrillers, if a thought-provoking film comes in between this, people will get a change, and I would say a very needed change. Through our film, we will show the people the truth, or you can say facts, which over the years have been floating in different ways on social media. We have compiled all of those together into this film. When you watch the film, you will know what the facts are, and then you can form your opinion accordingly.”

Aakhri Sawal is directed by National Award–winning filmmaker Abhijeet Mohan Warang. Presented by Nikhil Nanda, the film is produced by Nikhil Nanda and Sanjay Dutt, and co-produced by Puneet Nanda, Dr. Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey, and Ujjwal Anand. The story, screenplay, and dialogue are written by Utkarsh Naithani. The film is set to release in cinemas on 15th May 2026.
