Gujarat is set to expand its flagship investment outreach as Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel prepares to inaugurate the first-ever Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference in Mehsana.
The move signals a shift from large global summits to a more focused, region-specific approach aimed at unlocking local economic potential. The Mehsana edition will spotlight North Gujarat’s strengths, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers and entrepreneurs on a common platform.
Envisioned as an extension of the larger Vibrant Gujarat Summit initiative, these regional conferences are designed to ensure that investment opportunities reach beyond major urban centres. The idea is to connect district-level capabilities with broader industrial growth plans.
Key sectors expected to be highlighted include agriculture, food processing and emerging industries such as green energy, electric mobility and semiconductors. The conference will also promote initiatives focused on strengthening local industries and boosting exports.
The Mehsana event marks the beginning of a wider rollout, with similar regional conferences planned in other parts of the state in the coming months. Through this decentralised approach, the government aims to encourage more balanced industrial development.
By taking the investment conversation closer to the ground, Gujarat is looking to deepen its growth story while reinforcing its position as one of India’s most business-friendly states.
