The controversy over language in Maharashtra had not yet subsided; now a video of actress Kajol has gone viral on social media, which has fueled this debate further. The matter is of Maharashtra State Film Awards ceremony, where Kajol said something about Hindi language during a conversation with a journalist, which angered the Hindi speaking audience.
In fact, when a reporter requested Kajol to speak in Hindi, the actress said in an angry tone - "Should I speak in Hindi now?" After this she said - "Whoever wants to understand will understand." Just after this statement, people are trolling Kajol fiercely on social media. Users are asking - "If you have a problem speaking Hindi, then why do you work in Hindi films?" At the same time some people wrote - "There is no problem in speaking Marathi and English, but you have a problem with Hindi?"
Raj Thackeray's party MNS has also shared this video from its ex-Twitter handle, due to which the matter is getting more heated. However, Kajol has shared a clip of this felicitation ceremony on her Instagram, in which she is seen speaking in all three languages - Marathi, English and Hindi. But only that clip is going viral on social media in which she replied to the reporter in a sharp tone. Talking about the work front, Kajol was recently seen in the film 'Maa'.
