Now the news is that Salman Khan has got another big project. According to the report of Pinkvilla, Salman will soon be seen working with famous Malayalam film director Mahesh Narayanan. This film will be a period thriller, whose story will span from 1970 to 1990s. Several meetings have taken place between Salman and Mahesh Narayanan and now Salman has also given his consent for this film.

If sources are to be believed, Salman Khan now wants to step out of his comfort zone and be a part of challenging and different stories. 'Battle of Galwan' and now this period thriller film is his new effort in this direction.

It is worth noting that 'Battle of Galwan' is based on the clash that took place on the India-China border in the year 2020. Chitrangada Singh will also be seen in an important role along with Salman in this film. Earlier, Salman was seen in the film 'Sikandar', which did not do much wonders at the box office.
