Colour Yellow and Bhanushali Studios Limited kick off their first collaboration with the genre-blending thrill ride, Tu Yaa Main

In a landmark creative alliance that signals a bold new chapter in Indian cinema, filmmaker Aanand L Rai’s production house Colour Yellow has joined forces with Vinod Bhanushali’s Bhanushali Studios Limited to produce a slate of films that champion new voices, genre-defying storytelling, and cinematic experiences that truly deserve the big screen experience.

Kicking off this collaboration is Tu Yaa Main, a high-concept, high-emotion, date-fright film that refuses to sit in any one box. Starring the exciting new duo Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav, the film is directed by Bejoy Nambiar and promises a genre flip like no other. A meet-cute that spirals into a survival thriller, set against a backdrop of music, madness, and the raw unpredictability of nature.

Edgy and emotionally charged, Tu Yaa Main blends romance with survival in a gripping, genre-defying narrative. With unpredictable turns and a standout music score, featuring rappers, beat drops, and visceral sound design, the film taps into a bold new space for theatrical storytelling. For audiences seeking fresh, high-concept cinema with youth appeal, this one's firmly on the radar.

Producers Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Vinod Bhanushali and Kamlesh Bhanushali are backing a story that’s as emotionally layered as it is visually hypnotic; perfectly blending Rai and Sharma’s rooted human drama with Nambiar’s signature stylish grit. The film is set for a Valentine’s 2026 release and is already being touted as one of the most exciting titles to watch out for early next year.

Sharing his thoughts, Aanand L Rai of Colour Yellow said, “With every film, we want to stretch the boundaries of what stories can feel like. Tu Yaa Main is a bold and surprising new step in that direction. I’m excited to begin this collaboration with Bhanushali Studios, who share our belief in discovering the unexpected.”

Bhanushali Studios Limited’s Vinod Bhanushali added, “At the heart of everything we do is the desire to tell stories that truly move people. This partnership with Colour Yellow is built on a shared passion for creative risk and meaningful content. With Tu Yaa Main, we’re diving into something exhilarating, emotional, and exceptionally bold.”

Together, Colour Yellow and Bhanushali Studios are shaping a slate that leans hard into versatility, directorial vision, and storytelling that surprises you at every turn. If Tu Yaa Main is any indication, this partnership is just getting started, and it’s not here to play safe.
