Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia made their debut with Raj Kapoor's 1973 film Bobby. The film was the biggest hit of that year and its earnings in India were Rs 11 crore. According to a report, it was watched by 5.35 crore people in the country. According to today's inflation rate, its earnings are considered to be around 1000 crores. Bobby was also a great success in the Soviet Union, where 6.26 crore tickets were sold. Its total earnings in the international market are considered to be between 600 and 800 crores rupees according to today's rates.

Kaho Naa Pyar Hai, which was released in 2000, got a little more than 3 crore viewers in India and at the current rate, its earnings are around 600 crores. On the other hand, Saiyaara has got more than 50 lakh viewers so far. It is expected that this figure can cross 2 crores.
