After the thumping positive feedback ‘Bas Ek Dhadak’ received, ‘Dhadak 2’ gave audiences another beautiful track from the film – ‘Preet Re’. The second track from this intense love story starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri perfectly depicts the innocence, playfulness and simplicity of first love.

Written by Gurpreet Saini, the song is sung by Darshan Raval, Rochak Kohli and Jonita Gandhi. Rochak has also composed the music. Lyrics like “Dhadkan ye hi kehti hai, dil mein tu hi rehti hai” give the song an emotional depth and describe the feeling of someone gradually becoming a ‘Dhadak’ in a very simple way.

Its melodic tune, relatable verses, and light-hearted, flirtatious visuals reflect moments every lover will connect with, making it a track that fits seamlessly into both new and timeless love stories.

Directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Karan Johar, Umesh Kumar Bansal, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Meenu Aroraa, Somen Mishra, and Pragati Deshmukh under the banners of Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud 9 Pictures, Dhadak 2 will release in cinemas on August 1.
