Tamil actor Srikanth sent to judicial custody till July 7 in drug case, Narcotics found in blood test

Tamil cinema actor Srikanth is embroiled in a major legal controversy these days. The actor has been sent to judicial custody by the police after nearly eight hours of interrogation. Now he will remain in judicial custody till July 7. This action has been taken against Srikanth under a drugs case.

The police have informed that Srikanth's medical test was conducted at Kilpauk Medical College Hospital, where his blood samples were taken. In the investigation, narcotics have been found in his body. After this, on Monday night, he was taken to the residence of the 14th Metropolitan Magistrate in Egmore, where he was taken on remand and then sent to judicial custody.

Srikanth was questioned in this case at the Nungambakkam police station on Monday. This interrogation was done when former AIADMK functionary T. Prasad was taken into custody. The police suspect that T. Prasad supplied cocaine to 46-year-old Srikanth and another actor. In this connection, the police have already arrested Pradeep Kumar of Salem and based on his information, they also arrested John, a Ghanaian from Hosur, from whom 11 grams of drugs were recovered.

If we talk about Srikanth's career, he has been active in the film industry for the last 26 years. He started his career in 1999 with the TV show 'Janal - Marabu Kavithaigal'. Srikanth has appeared in many films like 'Kana Kanden', 'Manasellam', 'Nanban', 'Poo', 'Sathurangam' and 'East Coast Road'. Recently he appeared in the Tamil film 'Konjam Kadhal Konjam Modhal' and the Telugu film 'Errachehra'.
