Renovation work is going on in full swing these days in Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan's famous bungalow 'Mannat'. But meanwhile this work has come under controversy. Actually, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Forest Department have received a complaint that the construction work going on in Shahrukh's house is violating the rules of the coastal zone. After receiving the complaint, the team of BMC and Forest Department inspected Mannat on Friday.
According to the report of Times of India, an official said, "We had received a complaint, on the basis of which our team has inspected. Soon a report will be prepared on this and submitted to the concerned department." The official also clarified that BMC went along only on the request of the Forest Department, apart from this there was no other interference. During the investigation, the employees present in Mannat assured the officials that they would submit all the necessary documents. When Shahrukh Khan's manager was talked to about this, he said, "There is no complaint. All the work is being done as per the rules."
Meanwhile, it has also come to light that Shahrukh Khan is currently living with his family in Pali Hill area of Bandra, Mumbai, away from Mannat. According to reports, he has rented this new apartment for Rs 24 lakh per month. It is being said that the renovation work in Mannat will continue for about two years.
