TV actress Dipika Kakar's fans have been very worried about her health for some time now. Last month, Dipika was diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer, due to which she had to undergo a complicated surgery. After this surgery which lasted for about 14 hours, she has now been discharged from the hospital. Her husband and actor Shoaib Ibrahim himself has given information about this through his vlog.

Shoaib said that Dipika is now at home and is slowly recovering. He said, "Dipika has been discharged from the hospital after 11 days. The last few days were very difficult for us, but I am extremely grateful for the prayers and support of the people. This was just a stop, there is still a long journey ahead. We are following the further process as per the advice of the doctors and Dipika’s condition is improving." He further said that even now Dipika will have to go to the hospital for regular follow-up, because the tumor found in her liver was very dangerous. The doctors have called her again for a checkup after a week, after which further treatment will be decided.

Before the surgery, Dipika had been informed about this disease through her Instagram post. She had said that when she felt pain in the upper part of the stomach, during the medical examination a tennis ball-sized tumor was found in her liver, which later turned out to be stage 2 cancer. Shoaib shared his vlog a little late because he wanted to pay respect to those who died in the Ahmedabad plane crash. He also expressed condolences to the victims' families through the video.

Currently Dipika’s treatment is going on and the family is supporting her with a positive attitude. Fans are constantly being appealed to pray for her well-being.
