Salman Khan cancels Mumbai event after Ahmedabad plane crash, Says 'Not right to celebrate at such a time'

Bollywood actor Salman Khan cancelled his program to be held in Mumbai after the horrific plane crash near Ahmedabad airport on Thursday. As soon as the news of this accident came out, Salman's team immediately decided that it would not be appropriate to do any kind of celebration or promotion in view of the current situation.

On Thursday afternoon, Salman Khan was to attend the media event of Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) organized at Hotel Taj Lands End in Mumbai. He is the brand ambassador of ISRL and during this event, media interaction was also scheduled along with the announcement of Season 2. But, as soon as the news of the plane crash in Ahmedabad came, Salman immediately cancelled his program. According to close sources, Salman said, "It is not right to smile or promote something at such a time when the country is saddened by such an accident."

Let us tell you that today on Thursday, Air India flight AI-171 took off from Ahmedabad to London, but it crashed as soon as it took off. It is being told that the plane was at an altitude of 600 feet when it suddenly disappeared from the radar and crashed in Meghnani Nagar area. There were more than 240 passengers on board this plane. After the accident, a huge fire broke out in the area and black smoke covered the sky. Relief and rescue operations are underway.

There is a wave of mourning in the whole country due to this accident and the stars of the film industry are also shocked by this incident.
