David Warner channels Pushpa Raj in a new mattress Ad, Allu Arjun reacts

Australian cricketer David Warner recently channeled his inner South Indian actor for a new mattress advertisement, portraying Allu Arjun's iconic character Pushpa Raj from the 'Pushpa' series. The commercial, which promotes India's first-ever mattress temperature controller, features Warner performing the famous hand gesture of Pushpa Raj. The ad was shared on Warner's Instagram handle on Monday, June 10th.

The caption of the post included a playful nod to Pushpa Raj's swagger, reading, "David naam sunn ke tourist samjha kya, mate? Fire hai mein." The post quickly caught the attention of Allu Arjun, who responded with laughing, fire, and thumbs-up emojis, giving a shout-out to Warner.

Warner, a known fan of Allu Arjun, was particularly impressed by the actor's dance moves in the recently released 'Pushpa Pushpa' song from the upcoming 'Pushpa: The Rule.' He commented on Arjun's post, saying, "Oh dear, how good is this. Now I've got some work to do @alluarjunonline." Allu Arjun replied encouragingly, "It’s easy...I will show you when we meet."

Warner has previously expressed his admiration for Allu Arjun, often imitating the actor's moves from the 'Pushpa' series. From performing the 'Thaggede Le' gesture on the field to recreating the 'Srivalli' hook step, Warner's fandom is well-documented.

'Pushpa: The Rule,' written and directed by Sukumar with dialogues by Srikanth Vissa, stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil. The film features music by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek, and editing by Karthika Srinivas and Ruben. The highly anticipated sequel is set for a grand theatrical release on August 15th.
