Cast of 'Pukaar – Dil Se Dil Tak' seek divine blessings ahead of premiere

Sony Entertainment Television's upcoming drama, 'Pukaar – Dil Se Dil Tak,' is set to premiere on May 27. The show, a poignant tale of love, loss, and redemption, features actors Sukhada Khandkekar, Sayli Salunkhe, and Anushka Merchande in lead roles. In a gesture of reverence, the trio visited the Khatu Shyam Ji temple in Mumbai to seek blessings before the show's debut.

The cast members, who portray a mother and her two daughter, emphasized the significance of their visit. Sukhada Khandkekar, Sayli Salunkhe, and Anushka Merchande believe that their connection with the divine will enhance the emotional depth of their performances. The series is set in Jaipur and revolves around characters who are devout followers of Khatu Shyam Ji, making the temple visit especially meaningful.

Sayli Salunkhe, who plays Vedika, shared her thoughts on the visit: "Starting this journey with the blessings of Khatu Shyam Ji feels auspicious. Visiting the temple in Jaipur while filming was unforgettable, and I feel fortunate to have this spiritual support."

'Pukaar – Dil Se Dil Tak' tells the story of Saraswati (Sukhada Khandkekar), a desolate mother yearning to reunite with her daughters, Vedika (Sayli Salunkhe) and Koel (Anushka Merchande). The family was tragically separated by a malevolent scheme, and their paths will cross again as they confront the antagonist, Rajeshwari Maheshwari (Sumukhi Pendse). The show promises a gripping narrative of a family's quest to reunite against all odds.

'Pukaar – Dil Se Dil Tak' premieres on May 27, and will air Monday to Friday at 8:30 PM.
