Janhvi Kapoor visits mother's favorite temple in Chennai ahead of 'Mr & Mrs Mahi' release

Janhvi Kapoor recently made a heartfelt visit to the Muppathamman temple in Chennai, a place dear to her late mother, the legendary Sridevi. Sharing a picture from outside the temple on social media, Janhvi expressed that this was her first visit to the sacred site, which Sridevi had cherished deeply. She was accompanied by her cousin, Maheshwari, during this emotional pilgrimage.

Janhvi looked gorgeous in a pastel-coloured lehenga. She draped the dupatta in a traditional South Indian style. The actress completed her look with bangles and statement jewellery. Sharing pictures on Instagram, she wrote, "Visited Muppathamman temple for the first time mummas most favourite place to visit in Chennai "

Janhvi, in Chennai for the IPL 2024 finale as part of the promotions for her upcoming movie 'Mr & Mrs Mahi,' opened up about embracing religious practices following her mother's sudden passing. She mentioned adopting several of Sridevi's superstitions and rituals, feeling a deeper connection to her through these traditions.

As Janhvi gears up for the release of 'Mr & Mrs Mahi' on May 31, she also has a busy schedule ahead with other projects, including the highly anticipated 'Devara: Part 1' with Jr NTR and 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari' alongside Varun Dhawan, directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar.
