Shooters were offered Rs. 4 lakhs for firing outside Salman Khan's residence to scare him, not murder: Reports

The Mumbai Police arrested the shooters behind the firing that happened outside Salman Khan's residence on Sunday. After nabbing Vicky Gupta and Sagar Kumar Palak from Gujarat, the cops found another person from Haryana who was behind the shooting.

Amid the interrogation, the cops informed that Sagar was reportedly given the gun a couple of hours before the incident. However, the identity of the gun provider hasn't been disclosed. As per a report in NDTV, the police sources stated that Sagar and Vicky were allegedly offered Rs. 4 lakhs to carry out the shooting. An initial payment of Rs. 1 lakh was given in advance. The cops also mentioned that the intention behind the shooting wasn't to murder Salman, but just scare him.

Currently, the Mumbai police has initiated proceedings to issue a Lookout Circular (LOC) against Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, who took responsibility for the incident. After the shooting, Salman's security has beefed up.
