Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli embraced parenthood for the second time with the arrival of their son, Akaay, earlier this year. Away from the media's attention, the couple welcomed the baby boy in London. Popularly known as Virushka, they have a daughter named Vamika.
While Virat is busy playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore during the ongoing Indian Premiere League 2024, Anushka reportedly returned to Mumbai. The actress kept it low-key as she had Vamika and Akaay's company. According to Viral Bhayani, a renowned paparazzo, Anushka revealed her newborn baby boy's face to a group of paparazzi, requesting them to not click her munchkins. Adhering to her plea, the paparazzi refrained from clicking pictures and videos.
Viral further revealed in his post that Anushka promised to pose for them, but only when Vamika and Akaay aren't around. She also assured to host a get-together for the paparazzi to celebrate the arrival of the new member.
Anushka and Virat welcomed Akaay on February 15. Sharing the news, the couple issued a statement that read, "With abundant happiness and hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay & Vamika's little brother into this world! We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time of our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time."
Vamika was born to Anushka and Virat on January 11, 2021.
