Kangana Ranaut takes political leap with BJP, to contest Lok Sabha elections from Mandi

Kangana Ranaut often sparked discussions of joining politics with her volatile statements in the media. While she maintained her silence over the matter, the cat is finally out of the bag. Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) announced its fifth list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The actress has forayed into politics with the ruling party.

Kangana will be contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi. Apart from her, Naveen Jindal will be representing Haryana’s Kurukshetra, and Jagadish Shettar will be contesting from Karnataka’s Belgaum. Arun Govil who played Ram in popular TV serial Ramayan will be contesting elections from Meerut. 

 

In the fourth list which released on Friday, actress Raadhika Sarathkumar's name featured and she will be contesting elections from Virudhnagar. 

The elections will occur in 7 phases, starting on 19 April and ending on 1 June. The Lok Sabha elections 2024 results will declared on 4 June.
