Shah Rukh Khan completely dominated the year of 2023 with back to back hit films.

Beginning the year with the release of Pathaan which also featured Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the month of January to the release of Jawan in September. Followed by the release of Dunki just few days before the Christmas.

Recently, the actor became a recipient of the Best Actor Award for his role in Atlee Kumar’s directorial Jawan.

On receiving the award, the actor gave a speech during which he mentioned a special message for his wife and children.

He said, "This message goes out to my
children and my wife. Jab tak tumhara baap
zinda hai, entertainment zinda hai.”

He also addressed the break he took from films saying, "Four five years ago,
when my movies didn't work, I got upset with
myself. I stopped working on films, sat at
home, made pizzas, made rotis, spent time
with my kids, and Covid-19 came in between.”
