Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao announced their separation in 2021 after 15 years of togetherness. Despite the same, the duo continues to maintain a great friendship and were recently seen together at the Aamir’s daughter Ira Khan’s wedding.
Besides, both have also worked together on the professional front and Kiran’s directorial comeback Laapataa Ladies which is set to release next month. The film has been produced by Aamir’s Aamir Khan Productions.
In a recent interview, the actor revealed that he even asked for the feedback from his wife.
He said, "Ek mazedaar cheez
hai. Hum logg ka divorce abhi hua hai aap log ko pata hi hoga. Ek din shaam ko main baitha hua tha, maine bola Kiran, kya lagta hai as a husband mujhme kya kya kami thi? What can I improve abhi aage chalra hu life
mein?"
He further added that she even went on to reply to the same. The actor continued,
"She said haan likho. Bakaeda mujhe points likhwae
gaye. Aap bahut baat karte hain, aap kisiko baat nhi karne dete, apne hi point pe ghuse
rehte hain. Kuch 15-20 points maine likhe hue hain.”
Laapataa Ladies is set to release on March 1. It has been highly appreciated during its screening in Delhi last week.
