Bobby Deol is not a part of Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, his team confirms

Bobby Deol was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial Animal which released on December 1 last year and got a massive response for the same. In the film, Bobby portrayed the role of Abrar Haque and despite  having limited screen time managed to make a long-lasting impression with his performance.

Recently, the news about the actor's possible collaboration with Nitesh Tiwari in his upcoming directorial Ramayana was all over the headlines making fans wonder if the actor will step into the role of Kumbhakarna in a mythological film. But unfortunately, Bobby won't be joining the cast and his team has confirmed that he will not be a part of the directorial and no such discussion even took place.

However, Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash have been confirmed for the film and Lara Dutta's name has also surfaced although there has been no official confirmation. The film is set to go on floors in the month of March this year.

Earlier the reports about Sunny Deol portraying the role of Lord Hanuman in the film also came to light but again no official update has been there.
