Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, and Disha Patani have united for Nag Ashwin's upcoming dystopian action thriller, Kalki 2898 AD. It is one of the most-anticipated films of the year. The thriller was scheduled to release in theatres today, that is January 12, 2024.
However, Kalki 2898 AD has been postponed. Now, the multi-starrer will hit the silver screens across the globe on May 9, 2024. Sharing a new poster featuring Prabhas, the makers wrote, "The story that ended 6000 years ago. , . The future unfolds."

The first glimpse of Kalki 2898 AD was unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con in 2023. The teaser blends science with action and creates an air of intrigue. Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas and Deepika's looks from the film were disclosed.
