IIFA is expanding its regional footprint with IIFA Rangilo, a new regional IP dedicated to celebrating Gujarati cinema, culture and talent. The property is set to launch in 2027 as a grand celebration of the Gujarati film industry.
IIFA Co-Founder Andre Timmins met with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendra Patel Ji, to share the vision behind IIFA Rangilo and discuss the potential of creating a larger platform for Gujarati cinema.
The new IP is expected to bring together the best of Gujarati cinema and create a platform that can take Gujarat’s creative spirit to audiences across India and the world. IIFA Rangilo aims to celebrate the region’s cinematic identity while opening up new avenues for its talent and creative community.
The initiative also marks the beginning of a broader vision for Wizcraft in Gujarat. The company is exploring new opportunities and intellectual properties across sports, media, entertainment and the wider creative economy in the state.
The proposed collaboration brings together ideas, ambition and opportunity, with the larger vision of strengthening Gujarat’s position as a hub for creative and entertainment-led ventures.
With IIFA Rangilo set to launch in 2027, the new regional IP marks a significant expansion of the IIFA brand beyond its established Bollywood-focused celebrations. And as the makers put it, IIFA Rangilo 2027 is just the beginning of what could be a much larger creative journey for Gujarat.
