Akshay Kumar is known for his versatile acting and is surely one of the finest actors in Bollywood. In a recent interview, Rohit Shetty went on to reveal that the actor did a helicopter stunt without a harness in the film Sooryavanshi and mentioned the actor's strict discipline.
He said, "If it's a building with 80 floors, he will climb it, he will do 50 pull-ups, he will eat early, he is quite disciplined." Post which he recalled the scene from the film where the actor was hanging with one hand from the helicopter. Talking about the same he said that he gave an instruction to the pilot prior just to go up and come down but Akshay changed the instructions.
Rohit continued, 'This is a safety shot, we won't go ahead until I tie a harness. Just go up and come down, don't go around' Meanwhile, I was watching the shoot, I saw that he took around the helicopter while Akshay was hanging on his hand, his entire body weight was on his hand. Main jo bhadka hun pilot par and he said, 'Inhone bola tha' (pointing towards Kumar)”
Sooryavanshi released in 2021 and featured Katrina Kaif and Akshay in the lead.
